Marriage Robert Blain and Margaret Tannoch 20 July 1794

Extract from the Marriage record for the parish of Newton-On-Ayr for 1794 "Robert Blain soldier in colonel Fullerton's Regiment of Calvary and Margaret Tannoch of the parish of Ochiltree were three proclaimed on one Sabbath in order to marriage the said Regiment having marched from this Regiment the Regiment after the proclamations before the marriage was celebrated".
